Customize Device Label

Administrators can customize device labels so devices can be identified by custom text (instead of MAC address) on the inventory page.

To customize a phone or device label, follow these steps:

1. Expand Company Settings and click Phone Inventory in the left menu.

2. Locate the device.  Use the search engine to locate the device by MAC address, name, account, etc. 

3. Click on the Device ID. The system returns the Phone Inventory Details page. 

4. Edit the Label field as needed.

5. Click Save.
