Overview

The MiCollab Desktop Client Softphone is available for:

  • Advanced Users
  • Power Users
  • Agents



NOTE:

The Softphone should only be used with a headset connected to the PC running the softphone. The headset can be connected by USB or Bluetooth.


Call Functionality

During an active call, the MiCollab call control window allows for nearly the same functionalities as if the user is using their desk phone.


Activation

The steps required for activating your Softphone is the same for all user types which include the softphone.

If using the Softphone to receive inbound calls, you would first need to activate it by clicking on the ON/OFF button. 


For outbound calls you will need to specify with the Call Using drop down menu which device should be used to place a call. 

  


Once an option has been chosen, it will remain set until a different device is chosen.
